Dr Harpal Mann DVM MVSc (Veterinary Medicine)
Dr Mann has been practicing Veterinary Medicine for 24 years. He dealt with both large and small animals while practicing in India for 13 years. He established the Menzies Pet Hospital in 2004 which is a small-animals only practice (mainly dogs and cats). Dr. Mann chose this profession because he has always had a soft side for animals, and wanted to be able to do as much as possible to help and take care of them. In his words “animals give us so much, we are obliged to return to them, at least a part of it”. Dr. Mann’s compassion and care for animals is what has earned him his reputation and trust in the community. Dr. Mann likes spending time with his family when he’s not at work. He loves to travel whenever he can, and has an interest in physical fitness activities. Among his favorite activities are playing volleyball and walking.
Dr Mohan Matharoo DVM MVSc (Veterinary Gynecology & Obstetrics)
Dr. Matharoo has been working with us for the last four years. He is very dedicated towards his profession and works persistently hard in everything he does. While working with us as a part-time veterinarian, he is also working for the Federal Government in the Canadian Food Inspection Agency (CFIA). Treating ear diseases and performing surgical procedures is his passion. Whenever he is off work, you will see him reading. Reading veterinary science books is his hobby which has honed his skills to become a very competent veterinarian. He also spends a good part of his spare time with his family.
Eduard Partini - Vet Assistant.
Ed is a veterinarian from Kosovo, who is in the process of receiving his license to practice veterinary medicine in BC. He works at Menzies Pet Hospital as Dr. Mann’s assistant. When not at work, Eduard loves to go snowboarding, skiing and playing soccer. Reading also takes a good part of his life.
Janet Fulcher – Receptionist/Vet Assistant.
Janet has been working with us since 2006. She is one of the most socially outgoing members of our team. All of the staff members enjoy her home-baked cake and cookies almost every day. When not at work, Janet enjoys knitting, sewing, cooking and playing with her 4 cats and a Rottweiler named Libby. Janet also has a passion for social work and takes some time to volunteer in local community whenever she can.
Supreet Mann – Receptionist/Vet Assistant.
Supreet has been working at Menzies Pet Hospital since 2004. While working with us, Supreet is also pursuing her Business degree at UFV. Supreet loves to play with her dog Romeo when not at work. Fitness is her passion, so she enjoys going to the gym in her free time. Her hobbies include cooking, watching TV and listening to music.
Amanda Andrew –Receptionist/Vet Assistant.
Amanda is a full-time receptionist here at the Menzies Pet Hospital. Being a soft spoken girl, she has become very popular among our clients in a short period of time. When off work, Amanda enjoys watching a good movie, playing baseball, spending time with her family and with her pets – 2 cats and 2 gerbils.
Krystal Hedberg - Receptionist
Krystal is our newest employee. She recently returned home to BC from Calgary, Alberta and is taking full advantage of this beautiful province. Krystal is a real animal lover and has two dogs and a cat of her own. She loves to go hiking, boating and cook up new recipes whenever she has free time.
